Sensitive
to Chemicals/Fragrances?
Many people today have asthma, allergies, or chemical sensitivities
which can be quite dramatically affected by the use of cleaning
chemicals and air fresheners. By getting rid of the chemicals
and using the Norwex Antibac Enviro Cloth and Window
Cloth (Basic Pak set $32.99) in place of traditional
chemical cleaners you can dramatically improve your indoor
air quality.
Are
you allergic to dust mites?
Eliminate them with Norwex Mattress Spray ($35.99).
Sprayed just a few times per year this product eliminates
dust mites and their wastes, as well as pet/human dander etc.
from your pillows, mattress, couches etc. This quality product
works wonders for those with allergies and offers great peace
of mind to the rest of us. We spend such a large part of our
lives in bed; let’s not have dust mites in there with us!
Is
eczema or dry skin is an issue for you?
Consider the 100% Organic Shea Butter ($25.99).
This product offers relief from a variety of irritants, from
poison ivy to sunburns, dry heels and elbows and even as an
eye cream (I find that it reduces puffiness).
Sensitive
Skin?
For sensitive or any skin type I highly recommend the
Body Pak ($19.99 large) or Baby Body Pak ($15.99 small) 3
pak of face cloths. These face cloths are a must for teenage
skin or for anyone with acne as they remove excess oils which
clog pores. They deep clean and exfoliate your skin, reduce
blackheads, acne, and also remove makeup - all with just water.
Remove your mascara fast and easy and save money on expensive
cleansers, toners and makeup removers.
Suitable for
all skin types, Norwex Ultra Plus Laundry Soap ($24.99)
uses only 2 TB per large load = 80 loads. This product
is a favourite as it cleans so well, but also because it does
not contain fillers or fragrance. Ideal for sensitive skin,
safe on infant clothing and suitable for cold water wash.

There are many definitions
and criteria used to define natural and organic products and
the use of the term “organic” on personal care labels is not
regulated in the same way as it is for foods. This can make
it difficult for consumers to identify truly organic personal
care products. This is one reason why our new personal care
products are not simply labeled natural or organic, but are
actually ECOCERT® certified organic. ECOCERT® is considered
to be the most important organization in Europe in setting
the criteria for natural and organic cosmetics – their requirements
for an organic product are as follows;
• a minimum of 10% of the
total ingredients must be certified organic;
• at least 95% or the ingredients must be or vegetable/plant
origin;
• while the product may contain a maximum of 5% synthetic
ingredients, none of these must be included on the negative
list.
ECOCERT’S negative list includes:
• mineral oil and silicon;
• synthetic emulsifiers like PEG (polyethylene glycol);
• viscosity controlling agents like carbomer;
• preservatives such as formaldehyde releasers, parabens,
or phenoxyethanol;
• synthetic perfumes;
• synthetic dyes;
• synthetic solvents like propylene glycol.
In addition, the Swiss plant
extracts used in our products are also certified organic by
Bio Suisse. Bio Suisse is an association of more than 30 organic
farming organizations and about 6300 farms engaging in organic
production in the Switzerland and Liechtenstein The Bio Suisse
quality seal is by far the most important seal for organic
products in Switzerland and Bio Suisse requirements are far
stricter than even those of the European Union.
